Musings

I (and many of you) have been betrayed:  let down at one point or another.  But that is no excuse to withdraw and become a rigid, reactive shell.  No, I take betrayal as inspiration—inspiration to train my instincts and skills, and make my inner and outer capabilities all the more trustworthy.

  1. Betrayal simply means your heart was open enough to be hurt by trusting. Is that such a bad thing? Was it intentional, was it misguided, do we miss the signs that make it more to ourselves than it really was. Education is worth the price we pay for it. Betrayal is nothing more than how we respond to the whims of the universe, eh?

    • All depends on if we see it that way; I’ve had plenty of immature moments where my sense of entitlement has kept me from learning those lessons. BUT, I do agree with your core message! Thanks for the comment! 🙂
