The ironic thing is, in order to produce this clarity, the creator must often delve into complexity. To repeatedly bring forth results, he/she must know the precise combination of elements that work, the legions of ones that don’t, and why that’s the case.
Complexity can lead to a greater elegance of art. But only in this complexity of effort will you find the simple, all encompassing solution.So yes I do agree with you 🙂
Agree with your musing. When I look at the simplicity of my brother’s stunning woodwork, the clean lines and finish belies his depth of knowledge of how to use tools, his intrinsic appreciation of the nature of the wood and his creative ability to marry the two to achieve a clarity of expression.Creative simplicity is certainly not to be confused with a simplistic approach.
