In writing or any other art, it’s essential to retain the capability for unrestrained messiness, to encourage an overwhelming free flow of ideas. But it’s just as important to be capable of being clean and organized, so people can understand the formless richness I’ve tapped.

Sort of the concept of a rough draft and a final print. Get messy as you come up with your idea and explore it, but then clean it up before you show it to the public!

Totally! Gotta dive in so you don’t shortchange yourself…then you gotta clean it up so people get what you’re saying.
