Heaven/Enlightenment/Etcetera-each just a word.
Constantly misinterpreted; of that we’re assured.
But if on one fateful day, I become something [more],
(Whatever I’d been looking for)
Then go ahead, remind me-I’ll use any damn word-
Because I’ll know it down to its Core.
But if you you use any damn word, will anyone know what you’re talking about? What about if the words are strung together like Christmas lights so they are both beautiful and illuminating? Typo in the last line, its Core, rather than it’s, since it’s not it is but possessive.

The point is that by eschewing the entangling conventions that rise around words, you develop an awareness only available through personal exploration. Once that awareness is sharp enough then you see the truth of things underneath the label, regardless of whatever you label it. Thanks for pointing out the typo.
