My life is more pleasant when I allow things to be; without straining to define, categorize, or cross-reference things into intellectually digestible boxes. Personally, I find definition/categorization/cross-referencing naturally occurs in the right amount, at the right time, and at the right place when I abide in allowance.

Life is especially pleasant when I don’t tunnel-vision on what I believe it should be, and I just appreciate the moments as they arise.

  1. I’m of a more Platonic bent. Where he saw truth, I envision clarity. Where he interpreted goodness, I see communion. Where he spoke of beauty, I speak of continuance.

I hit publish on this the night before last, it’s an amalgam of all my previous works with some bridge documents to clarify a few things. I think I finally fulfilled my purpose.

    1. Some good points in there. The nothing box is indeed a great, and possibly the best, box!

  8. I have found that projecting an aura of evil can also simplify life. No one asks to borrow money, sleep on your couch, borrow your car, or dare to poke at you on social media. Life is much quieter, and any “friends” that stick around are genuine. 🙂

  10. You sir are channeling your inner Eckhart Tolle and isn’t life more enjoyable when you experience it fully as it happens…

    1. It is, in a sense that curiously defies any intellectualized attempt at explanation. At least in my experience.

  11. Ah yes. The philosophy of “Enjoy the moment as it is.” I like it.
