Switching labels/aesthetics can be fun and novel, but I think the most important thing for me is the focus that underlies my words, plans, and justifications. Without a critical mass of positivity, I’ll subconsciously find ways to work against my aims, to make every expression a meaningless gesture that lacks the ability to align to a desirable outcome.
I feel like a lot of times people (myself included) will switch surface looks and logos trying to find themselves when the answer is really deeper inside.
Always nice to here your thoughts!

As corny as it seems, if it’s what your heart is pulling you towards, I say forget what I or anyone else says! That’s why I personalize my musings and speak them from a me-perspective. Perhaps you’re going through a phase that holds a hidden lesson for you. Whatever the case, I wish you the best of luck!

It is always nice to exchange with a different perspective! 🙂
I appreciate being able to have an open discussion. There’s a lot of wisdom in everyone’s point of view.
Thanks, and I wish you luck with your blog and everything as well 🙂

Very deep, it’s how most of us feel. Positivity is indeed key. In fact, I stopped following Bloggers, because of their negativity and constant sorrows. Every morning when we get up, we decide in our brain…. Go LEFT be negative, Go RIGHT, be positive. It’s a choice to be positive. On some days, it’s hard work to CHOOSE to be positive and happy, especially if we turn on the news. Anyhow – Dirty SCI-FI Buddha, have a great Valentine’s Day! Positivity is YOURS today, I feel it!! 🌺

Indeed! I think it’s the default state, which is why I focus on not fighting negativity when it pops up organically. I’ll validate it, process it, it’ll go on its way, and I’ll naturally just rise back into default positivity. When I fight it, berate myself, or try to forcibly ignore it, it’s as if I’m using negativity against negativity, which only begets more of it. That’s just me, though. Not sure for other folks.

LOL – I think we are all the same in some way or another. I liked your phrase, “validate it, process it, and it goes on its way.” Eloquently written on how to deal with negativity. I feel the same. Have a great Valentine’s Day!

I’m not a fighter, I’m an accepter, lol! Sometimes I have to inwardly accept that I might have to outwardly fight, but I don’t run across that too often.

I like “critical mass of positivity.” That resonates.

Yes, I believe positivity is inherently connective and incredibly more powerful than negativity, but I have seen cases where it’s the equivalent of a bar of soap floating in an ocean of filth, where the overwhelmingly negative person points at the bar of soap as justification for their overwhelming negativity, and predictably, doesn’t achieve a desirable outcome.
