Musings

IMHO, it is not enough to settle for the mediocrity of thought that is imparted by unthinkingly accepting what is told to us. ย Cleanliness of thought arises from questioning all systems, from all angles and in all scenariosโ€ฆ

And using this inquiry to sharpen the very mechanism byย which we question things.

If someone is in the state you describeโ€“”unthinkingly accepting what is told to us”โ€“then how does he or she even know that they are in that state? It seems that their very “unthinkingness” bars them from thinking their way out of a paper bag.

    1. Have you taken a look around you lately. That’s exactly what is going on. You don’t know what you don’t know. And unfortunately, most don’t know that, either.

    2. Just a theory, but I believe our external circumstances give us clues. Gently at first, then a lot louder later. Sometimes that’s not the case, but I believe that in the grand scheme of things, life encourages us to evolve. If not now, then later.
