I believe rules have their place.  In the beginning, they provide stability; while truth is, in fact, everywhere, it’s easy to let the Ego foster addiction to a plethora of luxuries…but as you become better trained, more refined, and increasingly capable, a delicate balancing act becomes apparent:  Rules and guidelines must fall away so that one’s perception can wholeheartedly embrace That Which is Beyond Rules and Guidelines.  To That Thing, “the rules” are just an amusing gameboard that it can send whirling with a slap.  😉

    Rules have their place. Rules provide stability and order. But not all rules apply to everyone all of the time. I have come to the conclusion that the only rules that matter to me are the rules I make for myself. Every rule anyone else tries to impose upon me is meaningless.

    Without rules, we would have chaos.Some rules need to be in place.

      I think as we become more and more evolved as a whole, we need less and less rules. Kinda like you gotta watch little kids, but wise old mofos you can leave to themselves. But I’d say we’re still at the little kid stage collectively.
