Despite all appearances to the contrary, the profound is in the mundane. ย There’s also love within the misery.
Realizing that right there determines whether life becomes drudgery or adventure.

One of my teachers said there is only a very fine line between fear and excitement. Moving from fear to excitement makes all the difference. That move has been, and still is, the most difficult move I make. Fear is damning.
What helps me is remembering how I felt as I was on my way to be born. That sounds really corny, even to me; but one day I remembered, and that memory changed my life. I was SOOO excited! I was ecstatic! The life changing part is that I could see how hard it would be – and I didn’t care! I love that feeling, so fearless.
Funny thing is, when I got here and they pricked my heel, and it hurt, and I screamed . . . I got scared to stick my foot out. That was the beginning of my fear, as far as I know. For reals. ๐
