In the aspiration to improve ourselves, Existence will throw every kind of obstacle at us, and we are able to handle all of them. From external misfortunes to our own simple laziness and complacency, we will face all of it, and in growing caliber. I don’t believe in using anger and resentment to triumph, (though that is definitely a path I have taken), I believe in accepting these challenges with an avid exhilaration, for these trials are not to spite us, but to give us an opportunity to transcend, to become worthy of our own hero’s journey.
That journey is there for all of us. All of the time. Good luck with yours.

Accepting challenges with “avid exhilaration” is quite a tall order, but I like the thought of it. I will try to implement this.
