I’ve seen the words “at least” used for gratitude (e.g:  At least I have food/shelter/luxury) and I’ve seen it used for elitism (e.g:  At least I’m better than him/her), or procrastination/inaction (e.g:  I don’t need to do that because at least I’ve done this much).

“At least” is a powerful phrase and it can cut away an obstacle or become one.  Took me a long time to learn that.

  2. When I first got sober, “at least” came after a lot of wrong living: “At least, I’m not drinking.” My kids went through a lot.
