Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel
A group of snobby socialite teenage girls walk past me. One of them points at me and says, “Look ladies: A sad example of The Common Man, destined to toil away for our rich husbands and never enjoy luxury cars or a house in the Hamptons.” Smart-ass me snaps back, “Don’t kid yourself: 90% of you will…

IMHO, “Spiritual,” “wise,” “holy,” and “moral”…are all illusory and imperfect concepts that point to some nameless thing thing we already know at the deepest levels.

Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel
I’m wandering around my beautiful, sunlit campus, munching on some eggs I cooked up as a snack, when my head is bagged, I’m cuffed, and hustled away. Bag comes off: I’m in a dark closet that’s only light is a single naked lightbulb. A voice-modulated masked man says to me, “Your love of meat will…

Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel
I’m at the park decoding an ancient Sumerian prophecy when I realize what it’s telling me: The demon-lord Icthultu has finally come to collect on the bargain he struck with the Popular Kids. In return for gifting them with the power to continually abuse everyday people, their souls are now his. I look up: the sky is darkened with legions of…

I’ve Started Drafting The Adventures of Gul’Thak: Barbarian Valley Girl!
Okay. I’ve done my work for Echo for today, and I need a little creative levity. Here’s the intro page to my upcoming work, The Adventures of Gul’Thak: Barbarian Valley Girl: Dear Diary: O. M. G. Today I got voted captain of the cheerleading squad! I had to arrange an “accident” with our current captain,…
