What the death-chair is happening, all you nasty fucks who keep burying your farts in the same porous chair, only to have your dear friend sit on it by accident, triggering an audible, “PUUUHHHhhhh…” from its cushion which is accompanied by a visible green mist that arises from the fabric, they immediately start coughing, black veins erupt across their skin and start creeping across their face like a zombie infection, you drop to your knees and give them frantic CPR but there’s nothing you can do so you resort to hammer-fisting their chest with all your strength, sobbing desperately and screaming, “Live, you shitfuck, LIVE!”  Jesus H Christ why did it have to come to this WHY WHY WHY—

I’ve swung from denying negativity, to accepting to it, to allowing it (allowing it, in my opinion, is different from acceptance in that it doesn’t immediately assign it a fixed quality or quantification, which is what usually happens when I accept. Allowance just lets it be, without intellectual categorization).

Allowing it, in my experience, expands my internal space and room to focus. At a certain point I can reframe it as I please–it’s a part of me, but it isn’t all of me. I don’t have to identify with it using my entire being, to the point where it consumes me with stress and pessimism.
