    Most people are capable of playing by the rules.  But restricting yourself to playing by “the rules” means restricting yourself to tradition and doctrine.  IMHO, mastery entails not just the ability to play by the rules, but also the ability to operate effectively without them.     Yesterday I met a personal milestone:  Book sales in the double digits…in ONE DAY!  Previously, the most I’d sold in one day was eight books, but yesterday was twenty seven!  Now that doesn’t amount to much in royalties ($0.35 x 27 = $9.45; my inner Smeagol was like dozens—no HUNDREDS—of cents!  Nearly a thousand cents!…
