Word Count, Vol.4: Over 200k. I’ve decided to stop counting until I’m finished.
Thanks to All Who Bought Echo! And BIG THANKS to Melissa, Barbara, Ian, Lorna, [anonymous], Lisa, Meg, Matt, Bobby, F.T., Alice Smith, Leslie Coop, Richard, Shauna, Sydney, Pam, Jessica, Angela, Kiesa, Ross, Keith, Alice, Daina, Daniel, Yolanda, Trace, Books4me, Vince, Laurie, DAE, Jace, and Matthew for posting AMAZING reviews on Amazon!!! Ashley too for the 5 star on Nook! I’d like to reiterate that leaving a positive review for any author is the equivalent of leaving $100 tip at a restaurant (I know some authors who’d actually pay that much for a good review). Although I sincerely appreciate any love you leave me on Amazon, please consider leaving a review for ANY author you know, simply as a random act of kindness…because it’ll mean the world to ’em! (A good place to start are those I’ve listed—a few of them are authors. Let me know if you want me to put you in touch with ’em and I’ll be more than happy to do so! And no, you don’t need to have purchased their book to leave a review on Amazon; you simply needed to have used Amazon at one time or another to leave what’s called an “unverified purchase” review. If you purchased their book at the store or on another eReader, you can still leave a review for them.)
News: Just finished up a major part of the climax! It’s pretty cool that I’m finally getting to write about stuff that I envisioned YEARS ago (when I think up stories, I usually think up key moments that I want to happen, then back-engineer the rest of my material from there. Plenty of surprises pop up along the way, making it kinda like my own personal Adventure Time). Echo 1 and 2 are with my editor, and he’s going over them for last minute stuff (the process of paperback publishing seems to require multiple checks along the way). I’m also going back through Echo 3, putting brackets around the psychic communication (I’ve decided to leave them in italics; I like the look of that, but I’m also putting brackets around them), as well as smoothing out minor flow stuff. I think I’ll throw in a brief paragraph where Atriya uses the micro-missile pod I mentioned in Volume 1 but completely forgot in Volume 3. Maybe it’s minor, but I still wanna try and keep continuity. A little hard, considering I’m juggling all these irons in the fire at the same time—part of the reason why I eat high quality fish oil and Joe Rogan’s Alpha Brain. Anyways, I got more work to do, so back to work! If you’re a writer, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!!!
Right back at ya with inspired drafting and insightful editing. But only on at a time!

True! The drafting mentality is a bit too loose for editing, and the editing mentality is a bit too uptight for drafting.

Yes, yes, well said. Darn, I wish I’d said it that way! Nicely done.
