Precision trumps grit/toughness which trumps bravado which trumps complacency. Everything serves the ultimate goal of being precise. Many get hung up/stuck on the previous steps, lost in idolizations and romanticism. But any of those is better than being complacent.

To those who meditate/pray etc: I started (like most of you) to enhance performance/escape pain/negativity. Now? I meditate for relief from an unending deluge of ideas and possibilities; I do it for relief from a good thing! What a crazy twist of grace. The irony is that it just gives me more ideas. Pretty awesome.

I’ve always been creative; every failure/opportunity/misfortune/victory I’ve experienced has been surrounded by rationale I’ve created for myself-why something can or can’t be done. As I grew older I realized: What’s the use of creating reasons for “can’t?” If I’m creative no matter what then I’ll focus on creating reasons for “can.”
