  1. Is there a paperback coming out my friend? I am going to check and see if the grand children can get access to the parents computer. I always buy books because I like the smell but as long as they load the kindle app I could buy them a copy. Let me see what I can do. I can read it to them too. Thank you my friend it sounds very entertaining. Have a great rest of your week. Hugs 🤗 Joni

    • Sorry, but no paperback in the works as of yet. Maybe in the future, if it becomes more popular. Sad to say, but my paperback sales are once in a blue moon and the formatting for paperback is a giant headache.

Let me know if you need help with the kindle stuff—you can read a kindle book directly off your computer, or you can get the kindle app for your phone and/or tablet and read it from there, no actual kindle needed. Thanks for the support!!!

      • My pleasure. I appreciate your offer too. I talked to my husband about it yesterday and he told me I could download the app so I will do that today. I will purchase a copy later today and read it first to see if it is age appropriate for our 8,9, and 10 year old grandchildren. Looking forward to reading it. My husband is downloading the Kindle app on my Mac OS now. As soon as he is done I will purchase. Give me a week or two to read as I have writing commitments. Looking forward to reading it. I don’t know if you remember this but you were one of my first followers when I was just getting started and it meant the world to me. Congratulations again and I will get back to you. Big hugs 🤗 my friend. ❤️

I know how difficult it is to format a book for Amazon as I have done it. Especially with illustrations. It is even more difficult.

      • I truly appreciate you giving it a chance. No worries if it’s not your thing or your grandkids’ either. I’m still an indie author who’s just doing this for the fun and love of it, and that’s what I focus on (hopefully if/when I make it to the big-time, too; I would hate to have one of the most best-feeling things in my life become devoid of the fun!)

I am honored to have been one of your first followers! Us writers gotta stick together, help each other, and stop this weird gatekeeping stuff I’ve started seeing on Facebook writing communities, lol!

As far as the formatting…I more than agree with you—It. Is. NUTS! 😅

      • I expect to fully enjoy it. I plan to read some of your book today. Looking forward to it. Yes, I too feel blessed that I can do what I love. Thank you for your kind words. I remember being so excited when you started following me. I loved reading your wild post. They were entertaining and funny too. I love a sense of humor, and your creativity. You are right about the community, let’s hope we always support and encourage others to do well and not put up any walls or be jealous of those that succeed. I have a long way to go but I want to enjoy the ride and hopefully I continue to make friends. Have an amazing day my friend and let’s write and read and have some fun. Happy Saturday!!!! Hugs Joni
I got rid of my Facebook account I was tired of all the political fighting. It became a place of verbal war.

      • You’re really good at being positive, and I don’t say that as a light compliment—I think it’s one of the most underrated and ignored traits in the world! I also think it’s practical—unexpectedly good stuff happens to me when I make the effort to be positive. I hope it’s the same for you, and I hope you always manage to feel that peace and positivity! 🤗

      • Thank you that is a very sweet thing to say. It takes more energy to be unkind than it does to be kind. I try everyday to realize how blessed I am. Your high energy is what I enjoyed about you right away. That is positive too and your funny. I hope you have a wonderful day today. After our service I will be reading some Kent Wayne. Got to be a pen name. Big hugs 🤗

      • It does indeed take more energy to be unkind and constantly fight and worry and stress. I’ve tried it that way, and it kind of defeats the purpose of life!

Kent Wayne is a pen name, I thought of it as the comic book version of yin and yang. Bruce Wayne is super disciplined and precise, but he could use a little more heart. Clark Kent is all powerful so he doesn’t need as much discipline or precision, but that’s not what defines him—he’s defined by his heart, the restraint and compassion he applies to his power. So yep, my sneaky little societal commentary pen name, lol! (I honestly prefer Superman a little more as I mellow out…)

    • Thank you so much!! I really wanted to spread my wings with this one—back off from the violence and swearing so I could try and channel the early issues of Ultimate Spider Man. I really loved seeing that fresh sense of excitement in young Peter Parker, before he had to deal with a ton of life. Ironically, this book starts with my hero a little jaded, but that doesn’t last long. 🙂
