Your giggle for the day…when I started ebook making, I didn’t think of YA as young adult but female writers….Had to look it up to get it translated. LOL…I suck at short forms.

Haha! Maybe I shouldn’t abbreviate it…🤔

No, I suspect 95% of the people are good with short forms. It’s a me thing. Used to be a pain in University as I’d have to write the short forms at the top of the pages of articles and books so I could have ready translation 😀

Seems in-depth! Like a legend for a map, only for a heavyweight text…

Whatever it is, for some reason, unless it is frequently used I tend to have trouble with the short forms. It is a me thing. No one I know had complaints about it that I heard about.

Acronyms can get convoluted. Having been in the military, I know that if I talk with my friends I sound like I’m speaking a foreign language if a non-veteran is listening.

Never seemed to matter…I think it is just how my brain stores stuff 🙂 Now, some of your posts should come with an acronym….maybe TMI. For those who don’t want to read all about the organ and drug stuff 😉

Just finished it last night. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I’ll definitely check out the sequel whenever that comes out!

Thank you so much! Gonna be awhile, I’m around 60k into it, but it needs a lot of editing. Hopefully, you’ll like some of the new stuff: an Ogre who’s trapped in a tower and has a sword visibly sticking out of his head, much more neat stuff from Evermoor, the fantasy version of the Golden Age of Piracy…thanks for reading!

I love the name!! ❤️🙏

Thank you! It’s a play on words: my character thinks he’s left all his problems behind on Earth, but Evermoor is just ever more of the same, only in a fantasy-world setting. 😊

What a great idea. I admire how hard you work. I published a YA book and it was not only a ton of work but the research took forever. I hope someday to be a better short story writer. I mostly write poetry. You are a prolific writer. You are an energetic young man. What age group is it appropriate for my friend? Also does it have superheroes? Big hugs 🤗 Joni

It is indeed a lot of research! I had to feel around for how much and what kind of swearing would be appropriate and not distracting, as well as get in the head of someone who wasn’t truly jaded by painful adult experiences. I’d say it’s appropriate for middle-schoolers and up, kind of a really soft PG-13. Sadly, however, it doesn’t have superheroes–it’s a portal story into a fantasy world. Although my hero’s toddering old dog turns into a giant wolf-man on the other side of the portal, so that may suffice…😄

Oh that is a great description. My grandchildren are 8, 9, and 10. It sounds like something they may be able to read. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Joni
