In my mind, patience isn’t necessarily a virtue–there are times we must act swiftly and decisively without satisfying our concerns and comforts.

I believe patience is simply an offshoot of faith–abidance in the knowledge that everything will eventually be all right.  In that state of mind, I know when to be patient and when to be aggressive.
