Fear can be informative; it can be a reference point that helps me navigate toward my goals.
But if I let it run amuck it can also be an anchor, pulling at my perception until I refuse to take a single step in the direction I want.

Fear can be helpful, or it can paralyze you. Its hard to learn to use it, though so necessary for all of us.

Nature gave us fear to protect our lives. A good dollop of fear when there is danger is a good thing. However, it can get out of hand. When we fear things that are harmless, then trouble starts. I don’t just mean physical things, either. We should attempt to face our fears and work out why that thing frightens us.
