In my opinion, age is no excuse to withdraw or turn meek.
On the contrary, it’s a reason to become increasingly audacious and a lot more focused, because life has given me a better picture of what I want and how to get it.

I think I must have a disconnect. Things just keep falling apart. I work hard and have high hopes. It’s like a game of Risk and all I can roll are low numbers. The majority of my life I’ve been positive, getting back on my feet. I keep hoping that at the end of life, that’s f’king it! Haha! Seriously, I’m intelligent and make decisions that seem logical. There’s more to success than just being smart. There has to be a certain understanding, not intangible, that I’ve been trying to achieve all my life and haven’t gotten yet. I keep trying. What else can I do? I think I need a staff… delegate some of those problem solving mysteries. 😉

It does get frustrating. Sometimes you need a pause or a break.

I’ve never been a wilting flower, but now, after, oh, several trips around the block, there comes a time when one just doesn’t really give a flying fuck.

True, but you also need to consider the “age” as well. İf you are into your twilight years of your life, you are allowed to mellow down, because life has “given” you everything that you wanted, or almost everything you could achieve.
