Existence will channel energy into our lives, urging us to express our inner capacity.  That’s why it’s good to have personal projects we can regularly focus on; without them, we tend to wither into ill-defined puddles of unused potential, and close ourselves off from the flow of transcendence.

  1. I think there is considerable truth in that. I certainly do not get the fulfillment I need with just my day job. I am fortunate to not hate my job, but I need my tabletop gaming and other hobbies – not to mention my family and friends – to make life “work” for me.

  2. If I’m not writing, I’m cooking or cleaning. There’s always that. Not very creative, but it fills the void. I also usually have two or three crochet projects in the works. And I’m always looking to improve things around the house … create better flow, organize things better, create a more pleasing esthetic. Without all that, I think I might go crazy. I don’t know that any of it is transcendent, but it makes life livable. Thanks for the musings. I always appreciate them.
