Discipline is necessary to act consistently—to weather failure and disappointment and allow your dreams to physically actualize.

Courage, however, is necessary to consistently believe in yourself.  To have faith that no matter how badly you fail, it is somehow for the best.  This will bring positive opportunities to the fore of your mind, which would not be possible with a subconscious self-image that has resigned itself to failure.

Exercise discipline, but also belief.  Your belief is a tool that can maximize potential.

  1. I’ve had this conversation with my husband on a number of occasions:
    Him: “I can’t find it.”
    Me: “Yes you can.”
    Him: “No I can’t. I’ve looked and I can’t find it.”
Me: “You haven’t really looked because you think you can’t find it. Decide that it can be found and that you will find it and then you will.”
    Him: “I don’t think so.”
Me: “It’s true. I’m not going to find it for you.”
    Him: Makes sad pouty face.
I usually break down and find it. Bad me. 🙂 Belief is an incredibly powerful tool. I really like how you break it down.
