Ha! That takes a lot of restraint and wisdom, in my opinion. You don’t want to damage or scar people if you’re a teacher; you just want to prepare them for life.
It’s also a vehicle for memories. The crazy part is that some of my pain (physical, anyway) is a vehicle/reminder of some very fond memories. Some of the damage I’ve done to my body over the years is the result of some of the best times in my life. Like I said… crazy.
Pain can be a motivator.

Yes, it’s amazing what you can achieve by inflicting pain on others. I don’t know why people don’t do it more. LOL
