In my experience, calling yourself out on bullshit and addressing a problem is infinitely better than waiting for that bullshit to infect your perception and sabotage every attempt to improve your position.

We could definitely use more of that. It’s incredible how easy it is to create a bullshit narrative in one’s mind and actually believe it. And once one starts believing their own bullshit, it might be too late to turn back, so we need to check ourselves way before we get there.
