Kor’Thank and Echo: The Weekly Update

Word Count for Kor’Thank, Barbarian Valley Girl:  8593

Thanks to All Who Bought Echo!  And BIG THANKS to Melissa, Barbara, Ian, Lorna, [anonymous], Lisa, Meg, Matt, Bobby, F.T., Alice Smith, Leslie Coop, Richard, Shauna, Sydney, Pam, Jessica, Angela, Kiesa, Ross, Keith, Alice, Daina, Daniel, Yolanda, Trace, Books4me, Vince, Laurie, DAE, Jace, Matthew, and Siobhan for posting AMAZING reviews on Amazon!!!  Ashley too for the 5 star on Nook!  I’d like to reiterate that leaving a positive review for any author is the equivalent of leaving $100 tip at a restaurant (I know some authors who’d actually pay that much for a good review).  Although I sincerely appreciate any love you leave me on Amazon, please consider leaving a review for ANY author you know, simply as a random act of kindness…because it’ll mean the world to ’em!  (A good place to start are those I’ve listed—a few of them are authors.  Let me know if you want me to put you in touch with ’em and I’ll be more than happy to do so!  And no, you don’t need to have purchased their book to leave a review on Amazon; you simply needed to have used Amazon at one time or another to leave what’s called an “unverified purchase” review.  If you purchased their book at the store or on another eReader, you can still leave a review for them.)

News:  The cover for the combined edition of Echo 1 and 2 is almost ready!  Once it’s good, onward with the paperback publishing!  Kor’Thank is still chugging along at 250 words per day (the reason the word count is a little light is because I’ve been chopping up chapter 2, getting ready to publish it on my blog) and Echo 4 is still being chopped at 2000 words per day (I’m currently editing chapter 71 of 98).  Gears are turning, irons are in the fire!  In between all this stuff, I’m trying to time my bike rides to coincide with the fickle San Francisco sun.  Anyways, that’s it for now, and if you’re a writer, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!!!  🙂 🙂 😀

  1. Your work rate is awe-inspiring! And that is without counting the blogs, which I really enjoy, especially the musings, and the reading other people’s blogs, and the networking, and the many other associated writing and publishing related tasks… You show writers how it can be done! Thank you.

    • Thank you for the complement Sadie! It’s just a matter of conditioning, I think. At first it was tough for me to do 500 words a day, much less the ads and such. Once I get comfortable with a certain tempo, I try to step it up a little. 🙂
