My understanding of perception is that in the beginning, most of us mistake [divinity] for light. Then, as our perceptions deepen, we can’t help but see [divinity] everywhere—light, dark, beauty, horror—and the word “light” becomes nothing more than a placeholder used to navigate the grand game of existence.
Sweetness represents the divine light while unsweetened chocolate, the divine dark.
Life is, therefore, a chocolate chip cookie with vanilla frosting

Keep your pants on. I thought that musing was very insightful. Not man child worthy.

Thank You! The Man Child is pretty important though; keeps me from being a dreary old philosopher that spends 90% of his time stroking a long white beard. 😀

Well said! I have often experienced my greatest growth in times of darkness… by default, a light was shone.
