There is no inherent salvation in structure. Adhering to structure can often lead to effective action, which can induce a positive course of events, but structure alone is not enough. One must be EFFECTIVE. And to do that, one must constantly question whether the structure is serving them…or if they’re serving the structure.
“question whether the structure is serving them…or if they’re serving the structure.”
This may be the most important thing you have ever said.

Question everything. Nothing should ever not be questioned.

Structure is there ostensibly to create order in life…but that is not the way life is meant to be lived

And the biggest structure is binary opposites.

Effective structure. Mum had an insulin pump to give her insulin constantly. She refused to wear the part which monitored her glucose and relied on fingersticks. She had a structure, but refused to use it properly and it was entirely ineffective. I have a bed, which is a lovely old structure with a horrible mattress. I should be using it at this moment, but am not. The effective use of that structure is lost. My dear, this is a very good thought!

Thank You Kris! Indeed, structures are meant to help us live better lives, not to be worshipped.

Thank You Marc! Yes, the unexamined life is a bit of a tragedy!
