It’s definitely not necessary to challenge per se. I just think that it’s necessary to be WILLING to do so if presented with contradictory evidence or lack of results.

Exactly! I also think that in most cases life gives us gentle reminders we need to change which get ever harsher if we choose to ignore them.

This is the only way we can move forward in a society. Too many close-minded “that’s how I was raised” people currently to bank on any real success with changing the mentality of the masses.
