Word Count, Vol.4: 39,242
Thanks to All Who Bought Echo! And BIG THANKS to Melissa, Barbara, Ian, Lorna, [anonymous], Lisa, Meg, Matt, Bobby, F.T., Alice Smith, Leslie Coop, Richard, Shauna, Sydney, Pam, Jessica, Angela, Kiesa, Ross, Keith, and Alice for posting AMAZING reviews on Amazon!!! Ashley too for the 5 star on Nook!
News: Life got in the way a bit, so I took a day off, and reduced my workload the next day. (I’m simultaneously proud and frustrated when I have to alter my routine to account for “nerd injuries” that are writing-related, and by those I mean carpal tunnel and eyestrain).
I’m more or less keeping a steady word count of around 2k a day. I’m gonna try to give anyone reading my work the same level of payoff that was in Echo 3, but this one has to tie things up, so there’s a lot more exposition involved. Time to sharpen up my dialogue and scene-pacing skills. There’s plenty of compelling books that don’t rely on fight scenes, right?
Anyways, thanks again to those who bought or read Echo; you guys give me the much-needed motivation to bang out the daily word counts that my wrists are regretting, haha! If you are a writer, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!
