My opinion on discipline and audacity: If I can’t make myself do what I want, then it makes me vulnerable to having others make me do what THEY want.
Practice must be everyday, and my mind/spirit must be open/ready to capitalize on every moment. And to endure this oft-painful push, laughter and positivity become a matter of practicality.
Barring the debate that they have greater meaning, I know at the very least that they are useful tools. (But yeah, personally I think that they’re a bit more than that. 😉 )
You should try my husband’s trick, it involves no training and little effort; if anybody tries to make him do anything he even vaguely doesn’t want to do he faints. Nobody messes with a huge unconscious man.
