I have a little terrier. And a brand new sofa. Dog’s on the sofa. I see his rear leg raise into that telltale, kickstand posture. Yup, piss is coming. Thank you so much! I hope that you will forgive my literary clumsiness in the first few chapters-it’s my first attempt at writing fiction. As far as the cover, I’ll give credit where it’s due: Elsbro on Fiverr. The only influence I had was the concept, layout, and being an annoying nag of an art director! 🙂

I know the feeling. Whenever someone buys one of my books, I get excited, then I remember that they could hate it and I’m still learning. There’s always a mistake, or something little I wish I could change. I’ll be kind, don’t you worry. Looking forward to reading it. The concept really intrigued me. You must be a great art director, because the cover turned out fantastic.

Thank you! Yeah it’s pretty awesome when someone buys a book. Surprising that having been in the military, I’m meh about being physically/verbally abused, but when somebody has a complaint about my writing quality, I get all bent out of shape, haha! Probably because writing involves pouring so much of yourself into your work and then allowing the world judge it with all possible harshness. For writers, and all artists, therein lies an act of courage, IMHO>

Incredible courage! When someone criticizes our writing, it’s personal! As soon as a book goes live, I want to hide under my table and chant “please don’t hate me, please don’t hate me.” Haha, we are brave souls, I guess.
